Le Village gaulois

The Gallic Village

The village was founded in 1986 to provide the MEEM organization with the funds necessary to undertake action for development in Africa .

Land prices were decisive in the choice of a site . Three acres of  fallow land  were available in a valley with a flowing stream and a crystal-clear fountain which never dries up.

The choice of the Gallic theme came naturally given the interest we have in our history and the simplicity and cheapness of the required building materials .

The result is an environmentally-friendly and people-friendly site.

The MEEM association changes its name during a general assembly of March 23, 2019. Its current name is " a Gallic Village for Africa" (VGPA)
